ArtsTrain presents: Amplified Sessions. Amplify your talent and unlock your creativity

We’re incredibly excited to launch our new, 10 week music programme for young people aged 13–17 who show creative potential and a strong passion for music.

Starting in Autumn 2025, ArtsTrain: Amplified Sessions offer an elevated, cutting-edge experience for aspiring musicians, songwriters and vocalists across all genres to amplify their creative skills.

Young artists and musicians will gain valuable experience performing at venues across South London including the stunning backdrop of Horniman Museum Lates and renowned live music venue, Hootananny Brixton.

Beginning in late September, Amplified Sessions replaces our previous 'Jazz Fest' project with a fresh, intensive model built around artistic growth, professional development and live performance.

What does the Amplified experience offer?

  • Weekly songwriting sessions

  • Creative mentorship

  • Collab day with a Guest Artist

  • Music industry careers panel

  • Studio recording time

Who are we looking for?

  • Young musicians aged 13-17

  • Emerging talent or clear creative curiosity, regardless of experience level

  • Young people with an aspirational mindset, even if you are still developing confidence

  • Young people willing to collaborate, explore new genres and styles

  • Young people committed to attend regularly and engage fully with the programme

Key dates

Amplified Sessions is a 10 week programme that will take place between 20th September and 25th November.

Induction session:

  • 20th September

  • Weekly and intensive sessions will run from w/c 22th September

Performance dates:

  • Horniman Museum Late - 6th November

  • Hootananny Brixton - 24th November
