Join us for our London Jazz Festival shows!

We've very excited to announce that our collectives from Bexley and Bromley will be performing at the 30th London Jazz Festival next week!

Each year ArtsTrain teams up with established artists and a diverse group of young people from Bromley and Bexley to co-create original pieces of music to perform at the festival. It’s our most ambitious compositional project of our calendar, and 2022 marks our twelfth performance for the festival, taking place at The Southbank Centre.

If you're yet to get our Southbank show in your diary, read below on the details of our performance and we'll see you there...

Join us at the Southbank Centre
Sat 19 Nov from 12pm

EFG London Jazz Festival presents young emerging artists and youth music ensembles – all from London – to show just how much talent this city has to offer. The London Lineup begins at 12pm on Saturday 19 November (our collectives will perform just after 1pm), and it's a chance to hear not only the original music from our groups, but compositions from young groups right across Greater London. It’s free entry, and friends and family are welcome, so bring everyone down for a Saturday afternoon of original music at the Royal Festival Hall!

Live music showcase in Bellingham

Our LJF Collectives have been busy these past few months creating original music responding to the theme of wellbeing. Be the first to hear one of our group's tracks at our live music showcase on Thursday 17 November at The Fellowship Inn from 7pm.

Local Bromley charity JusB Youth Hub have been attending sessions with ArtsTrain and will be joining us for this unmissable performance. They will be bringing their own original music from rap and drill to R&B.

We'll be topping off the night with a special performance from guest artist Jelly Cleaver. Hailing from south London, Jelly is a composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist with an eclectic taste. As an activist, there's a healthy amount of political dissent in her music, and we can't wait to hear what she'll be sharing with us.

We’re really looking forward to sharing our music with you all next week. Don’t forget to tag us on Instagram @ArtsTrainMusic if you share any photos or videos from our shows - we’d love to see them!
