Catch ArtsTrain performing at London Jazz Festival
There’s less than a month to go until EFG London Jazz Festival begins across the city. Running from Friday 15 to Sunday 24 November, the festival celebrates fresh thinking and innovative collaborations from across the genre.
Each year ArtsTrain teams up with established artists and a diverse group of young people from Bromley and Bexley to co-create original pieces of music to perform at the festival. It’s our most ambitious compositional project of our calendar, and 2019 marks our tenth performance for the festival - this year at The Southbank Centre and The Albany in Deptford.

ArtsTrain opens this Ghost Notes showcase at The Albany, sharing a line-up with The Spaces In Between, an all-star improv session featuring members of Maisha and Vels Trio, and DEM1NS, the ever-evolving outlet of drummer and producer Kwake Bass. Also featuring Maxwell Owin, Kokoroko’s Sheila Maurice-Grey and more. Come and celebrate our collective's hard work with an incendiary Friday night show - over 18s only.

SUN 24 NOV | MIDDAY
Get a glimpse of tomorrow’s stars at Next Generation Takes Over, a show celebrating young musical talent. This event profiles the incredible music made by young people from across the UK and provides opportunities for collaboration with professional musicians. ArtsTrain will be performing at midday for the final day of the festival. It’s free entry, so bring the whole family down to enjoy this showcase.
